Weight Loss Support: Hot, Medium or Mild?..Choose Hot!!
Are you the type of person whose food can never be spicy enough? Do the words “fire house” cause your taste buds to salivate? If so, you may actually have a leg up in your physique enhancement journey.
According to recently released findings of a small group of new studies, a component found in hot peppers called capsaicin was shown to possibly help reduce appetite in test subjects1. The findings of the study indicated that capsaicin potentially boosts sympathetic nervous system activity in a way that reduces hunger and ultimately curbs caloric intake at later points in the day. A related study showed a capsaicin-like compound found in sweet peppers to ultimately support weight loss in test subjects.2
These studies by no means suggest capsaicin to be a magic bullet for weight loss support. However, red peppers in conjunction with a healthy diet and consistent workout routine can potentially be a helpful addition.
